The last time I went shooting with any regularity was at the age of 12 with my old Ruger 10/22. Hard to believe that was 20 years ago. Trying to get back into it, and recently found this forum. Seems to be a good source of information! Now I am on the lookout for my first handgun. If you do the math with my age, you may notice I was plinking away with my Ruger when Glocks were achieving an almost mythical status in popular culture. I remember talking about them with my friends in middle school, imagining what it must be like to fire one, and wondering if we might actually see one in person one day. There was one particular Glock that every boy in my midwestern hometown knew by name, and that was the 19. If you have one posted in the classifieds, you might hear from me!
