For sale is another one of my project rifles.
This is a 1964 Ishapore Lee Enfield model 2A in 7.62x51 (.308 Win). The barrel and fore stock have been cut down to No5 "Jungle Carbine" length with hooded front sight and flash hider installed.
Rear sight mounted on barrel has been removed and a fixed peep sight installed on charging bridge. A new hand guard was made from a No4 hand guard.
Shoots good with crisp trigger in 4-5 lb range.
Comes with original 12 rnd magazine, A.E. Nelson leather sling (made in Scio, Or) and about 200 rnds of reloads (for components only) with stripper clips.
Target below was at 100 yrds, ammo was Magtech M80 ball. 10 rounds shot semi fast. The flyers are just me and yeah, that sucks... (to quote Paul Harrell ;^)
