Poll: Is this rust or copper fouling?

I have only put 60 rounds through my Bergara .30-06, went shooting yesterday and waited until today to clean it only to find this rust/copper color in my barrel after cleaning it. I have used Hoppes #9 and Hoppes Copper remover with nylon and brass brushes. It stays the same and zero rust color came out on any patch, it cleaned as if it isn't there. Any thoughts?

Tthe Hope's #9 works great if you let it soak 12 hours. Patch will be blue.
Repeat until patch is not blue. Barrel probably is a bit rough? You can smooth it
up with Brownell's bore paste.

Yea, time is what is necessary for hoppes.. and I generally use a brass brush.. they're pretty neat when they're all green and gunky
Swab it and leave it.. it won't hurt it

You might try some Sweets 7.62 Copper Remover. It does appear that you have a pretty rough bore and there are a couple ways of smoothing it. Personally, I wouldn't bother with any of it.

Yup, copper for sure, cleaned it out one of mine.

I'll add that Hoppe's is an "ok" product, it'll clean basic stuff fine, it's old, it's not developed.

I used MPro 7 cleaner and for the toughest copper, their copper product.

I have used MPro 7 , Sweets, Shooter's Choice and a dozen others over many years.
I still find letting Hoppe's soak 24 hours will get cu out better than any product.
Try some Hoope's 24 hour soak after you cleaned your barrel with your favorite product.
You might be surprised with a blue patch. Not developed? I like that pretty funny.
There is a reason why it is a top selling bore cleaner for 100 years.

Well I was certainly panicking when I saw it but it looks like it's copper. Theoretically it was fouled with copper before yesterday and only shot 13 rounds yesterday.

These were my first 5 rounds @ 100 yards with Winchester Extreme Points.

Get a rag, a clean thick rag, an old rag.
Put the rag on the floor, in a corner.
Stroke the bore with a Hoppes #9 soaked bore swab.
Clean and wipe-down the rifle with CLP to prevent fingerprints and such.
Lean the rifle in the corner, muzzle down, on the rag.
The Hoppes needs 24 hours to work it's miracle in the bore.

Next day,
Lift up the rifle, observe a green colored scum ring on the rag.
Stroke the bore with a Hoppes #9 soaked bore swab.
Observe green scum coming from the bore.
Stroke the bore with a bronze bore brush soaked in Hoppe's #9.
With the bore wet with Hoppe's #9, place the rifle muzzle down, on the rag, in the corner.
Leave for a day and a night.

On the 3rd day, swab the bore with Hoppe's.
Put a wad of rag soaked in Hoppes in the chamber.
The wad of rag is a plug to prevent green scum from dripping into the action.
Tap a cleaning patch into the muzzle to keep out FOD (foreign object debris)
Wipe the rifle with CLP, put into safe, butt down.

Ignore till next range day or hunt
Remove plugs, stroke bore with a patch soaked in Hoppes, note less green scum
Stroke bore with dry patch, shoot a couple fouling shots.

When done, start 3 day cleaning cycle.

In garrison, after shooting rifle, USMC requires 3 cleanings.
