A little clue for people to make it easy- the China import "Magpul" stocks that are marked as Magpul product are FAKES. "Leupold" scopes made in china and imported being sold as Leupold are FAKES. KCI Glock magazines are not fakes, they are compatible with Glocks. Accurate-Mag mags are not AI mag fakes, they are compatible. A Surgeon action is not a Remington 700 fake, it is compatible. 2+2 does not =5, it's 4.

The OP was asking a question, if his mags he just purchased were Glock branded or fake. Fake in this instance is an adjective describing the possibillity of "not genuine" mags. Which in fact are fake!

They would only be fake if they were marketed as genuine Glock magazines, or marked as Glock magazines.

Look at the OP's screen shots. The description just states Glock 17 33 rnd mags. He did not know and wanted help here. The magazines are not clones, copies, or Glock. They are aftermarket substitutes that will work.

And yet you insist on pushing this pointless arguement. The OP asked a simple question and it was answered. I used the OP's vocab to describe the magazine. He gave two choices for the magazine "factory Glock" or "fake". You did not even answer his question. Now if you said they were not factory glock or fake, rather a third party aftermarket magazine. Then that would be resonable. Take that zero and divide it by another zero. Thats how much help you gave...

It’s like calling a Wilson 47D “fake” because it’s not a factory Colt mag. Like everything, some products are better than others.

Great example where the best is not the original.

There certainly are true fakes, such as the "Original GI" magazines that are packaged to look like government issue mags, but they are cheap import imitations. And they are stamped to make you think they are true GI-spec. Those I can truly call fakes.

So rather then educate OP on difference between Fake and a "Clone" you decide it's OK to tell him they're fake so he goes back to where he bought them claiming they're knockoffs?
