Never been into "country" much but I've been listening to Drive-by Truckers a lot lately.

Here's one of many great songs by them and I've never understood the whole "southern pride" thing but this song is awesome. Only live versions on Youtube so there's a long intro but a cool story. Song starts at 3:15.

oh man oh man oh man, so many great songs y'all listed here... I produce (...or reduce...) records so I gotta post something from one of 'em. This was recorded in Belfast then the band came over here to PDX for me to mix it here... and my wife is the female singer heard on the track so you'd better like it (( They're called Yakuza & though they pre-date the mid-west U.S. band using the same name, in the States they're probably gonna go by 'A Band Called Yakuza' so they don't get sued...))
