I guess I was wondering if I am right to deprive the guy of any profit from me because he promotes an ideology that (decades before I was even born) my country sacrificed a great deal to defeat? Or am I completely misjudging the guy?

You could be completely misjuding the guy. Strike up a conversation if for nothing other than a healthy (friendly) debate. As far as depriving him of profit, well that's capitalism. Your dollars are just going to the next guy

Perhaps, I am griping a bit about this from what I witnessed at a gun show a couple winters ago in Vancouver. There was very few firearm dealers there, but plenty of other vendors selling weird thing-a-ma-jigs that I had no clue what they were. I was disconcerted to see so few firearms at a gun show, but so many other people selling odd stuff which had little use to me.

Anyhow, I don't really go to gun shows anymore anyway. Let them sell what they want..

In all honesty, the only truly worrisome combo I have seen is one of the gun shops near me that is situated in a liquor store. The owner assured me it was a good combination, but I worry it may not be so. Right under the bottles of bourbons are some nice pistol grip shotguns. Ammo lies side by side with little liquor bottles. Anyone else think two and two don't go together.

Anyway, I don't think it should ever be illegal to sell anything (outside he obvious: drugs, etc). This is more about common-sense than enforcement.

At one recent gun show my gal bought a cute piece of jewelry (onyx stone silver frog necklace) from a vendor who had no guns.. she's a real pro gunner but some folks have other interests too, and it perked her interest for a time whilst I was buying gun stuff

I can see being put off if it got really weird and most vendors were selling non firearms stuff but war memorabilia is certainly gun related. BTW my father was in the Pacific in WW2 as well as all my uncles who were old enough to sign up

Gun shows need to have a balance. About 15 years ago, the Salem gun show was pretty darn good. It eventually died. I asked some people why, they said it became like a flea market. I don't know if that is true. I like the Rickeral show now, it use to have a rally good breakfast. Meet with friends, breakfast and look at all the stuff. If there are a lot of people there, it is a good show and what ever they are doing works.

Measure 5 killed what the shows used to be . Not to debate whether the law is wrong or right but back before it passed, guns shows were exciting great deals could be found . It was ok to haggle, you could get good deals on your trades. The dealers didn't like it much in fact one that i know of supported the bill because it would boost profits

No, at one point China was Socialist not Communist, current day China is Capitalist.

Don't you believe that buddy; The Chinese are as capitalist as they need to be to get on top of the world economy. Remember Tienanmen square?
As far as the Nazi goes; there are a lot of Alpha Hotel's out there who think that stuff is funny. I was on a date with a Jewish girl in Los Angeles once.
Went into a gun store in a mall. There was a pair of boots on display with a sign "Genuine Juden Stompen". That my friend was a bad feeling.
