Neither can you with the holier than thou posts about the other website that you continue to promote here. Also the continued belittling of people that don't see things like you do. A good long look in the mirror may do you some good. Practice what you preach??? Oh, I know, he started it. That's always a valid excuse.

Despite what you think, you also are contributing to the rift among those who like and support the 2A, despite what you may think about a lot of folks here. Throwing the baby out with the bathwater, so to speak.

This whole thing kind of disgusts me on both sides. One side speaks about support of the constitution and yet restricts all discussion to conservative issues. The other speaks of welcoming everyone and yet limits the discussion to one political issue while the reality is that the issues are all tied together. It's a fallacy to think that you can limit it to just the one issue or side and not inevitably have other issues brought into the discussion. Trying to do so doesn't serve either side as it just drives people away. Personally I see only two options for this forum. Either forbid all political discussion including 2A discussion or have a politics forum that is open to all political discussion and only allow it in that forum. Moderation should be limited to personal attacks. That's just my 2 cents for whatever it's worth.

I don't live close enough to most people here to buy/sell/trade, but I like to come here to discuss guns and gun related issues with others who enjoy the same thing and hopefully learn a thing or two.

What I have hated about this site in recent history is a small group of people who have tried to take over by flooding and overwhelming the off topic and legal forums with a few legitimate topics but with the vast majority of threads being some random conspiracy theory or bogus claim from a super secret squirrel source or not permitted political topics. A little of this stuff is to be expected ,heck ive posted some myself and it can spice things up so to speak or make for entertaining reading, but it has gotten out of hand. If anyone dares to question the validity or origins of these topics they are attacked and labeled as Marxist/commie etc.

I am a Libertarian and very much believe in "live and let live", so I am glad they have a place to talk about how the Holocaust never happened and such but leave us alone.

I just read this thread from start to finish, I'll never get back that 15 minutes of my life... It reminds me of the "Jerry Springer Show".

Not a single post in this thread with any value whatsoever. Including the original post (sorry Joe, you probably should have just ignored this one since it is beneath you). Any supporting vendor with a brain who received this should have seen right through the hoax for what it is.

Personally, I believe Joe Link (and crew) have done a splendid job here, opening the tent to all who enjoy firearms, and the 2nd Amendment in particular.

Having said that, I do not believe for one millisecond that anyone in charge over at WCFA had anything to do with this hate mail. And, if they do find out that someone there did, I have all confidence that they will deal with them appropriately.

I also think that Joe said it best. Trying to please all people is a fools errand.

Salted Weapon, Stomper and others have been some of my favorite people that I met here, and for that I am grateful. I will continue to support both sites, as I feel both have their place.

Both have their place. NWFA for the excellent work they have, and continue to do to embrace all those who support the 2nd amendment, and enjoy the hobby of firearms.
WCFA for the more (dare I say) advanced 2nd amendment issues, with no compromise.

There is plenty of room in this big pond for both missions.
There is no reason for anyone here, or there to start bickering amongst ourselves. Deep down, most of us want the same thing.
Shall not be infringed. Period.
