Ceasefire Oregon attempting a rally in Eugene on March 2 at the Saturday Market 1pm-3pm. Jason Kilgore (Baldr Odison) is likely to be there trying to see how far up Mayor Piercy's butt he can kiss. This will likely be similar to the one they did last year ( <broken link removed> ). We gotta watch what these guys do. They are struggling at the federal level, can't gain support at the state level, I wouldn't put it past them to attempt to get Kitty to pass a city ban on guns within the city limits.

Good luck to that. State preemption precludes that from occurring. If they do, it is invalid. The only thing they can do is to pass a ban on LOADED open carry by non-CHL holders. CHL holders can still open carry and carry loaded and of course conceal carry.

You are quite right. But that (constitutions) didn't stop them from submitting that tripe bill (HB3200). Never give them the opportunity to grandstand unopposed.

So I checked their Facebook event page and only 12 people have responded as going as of last night. Is that the overwhelming majority they claim supports their ridiculous bills?!
