After an nice diner with some friends I was walking back to our car and, BAM! Hitted my toe in the bubbleguming sidewalk so it folded the toenail over, sheared some skin of and generally hurts so it's really hard to walk on that leg at all. Where is all my tab/licencing money going? Anyone know a GOOD personal injury Lawer?
You should have been walking on the bike lane all the tax/transportation money goes to make them pretty bike lanes. As a safety measure you might also wear shoes.
You could try to file a claim with the City - Department of Executive Administration - Risk Management Division But, according to Seattle, the adjacent property owner is responsible for maintaing their portion of the sidewalk:
Did all the tax money go to pay for no CC in public parks signs, removal of them, and to pay attorney fees fighting the state telling them they couldn't ban CC in parks... either that or to repave roads a month or two before a scheduled replacement of water mains or other utilities are to occur...
Don't forget the self cleaning toilets that turned out to become junkie heavens and prostitute magnets.
A friend of the family triped on the sidewalk downtown and fell and broke her hand. Won 100k in the law suit with the city. Crazy
WOW!! Wish I could sue somone for everytime I do something stupid like stub my toe.... If the sidewalk was that out of shape, you proly could of seen it... If not, might be time for glasses...
I stubbed my toe on my bed-frame the other day, does anyone know any corporate lawsuit lawyers, I think I have a case against the bed-frame company.
Nothing is ever perfect whether government run or privately run. Take responsibility for yourself and watch where you are going - problem solved.
