I know there are alot of liberals on this site just like you so if you would kindly prove GAO is wrong you would raise the standards a bit. However if you can't prove them wrong I don't think you help your cause by talking about a penis. While those liberals here may be interested in your shortcommings the rest of us wish you would stay on topic.

Reid is a progressive democrat and that should answer all questions.

Wow. I only had to read a few lines before I realized this was a GoA article.

I suggest that you do research for yourselves and DO NOT take this as fact. Every time I check their facts I get a different story.

I do know that early on and before the vote, the GOA did speculate (based on comments by Kucinich and others) that the HCB will target people who have "excessively dangerous" behaviors and that based on comments by these liberal lawmakers and by the HSS that gun owners could be put in this category, and "is likely to be high on that list".. I read words such as "likely", "potential" etc. but never that it was fact.
GOA made it clear that this was NOT a fact at the time. And considering Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius' anti-gun positions when she was Governor of Kansas it was pretty good speculation by the GOA. Never once did they claim it was fact or that it was "written" into the bill. And, considering Sebelius' latitude in her position it still could happen.
Is it a stretch? Well... Over the years, I've learned that nothing is a stretch when it comes to the Socialists expanding their reach into our private lives.
What about high school football? Football had the highest injury rate (4.36 injuries per 1,000 athlete exposures)
Skin diving? Mountain climbing?

I'm an old enough Fart to know what happens in politics, and in the expansion of bills that start narrowly, but have a tendency to expand their reach. It is not that unreasonable to watch the HCC bill expand far beyond its original words.
With a major change in political power in November, the Health care bill will most likely get repealed or at least -re-written.

No, they just used generalized statements to make it SEEM like fact and that it was prejudiced against gun owners. And how many caught that? Hardly anyone as threads sprouted up EVERYWHERE.

But they were already urging people to contact their reps based on a "Gun owner database"

I almost used their little premade form, and then I was like "Huh.. this language seems like its rather generalized" Not a lie but dishonest. Not someone I want to deal with.

But hey, since we can influence non existent bills based on pure speculation. Why not!

Believe me when I state that your are being dishonest with yourself, and that is sad to read. It permeates just about every statement on such issues you've ever posted.
If you were to apply "sound reason" to the majority of your gripes, you'd have few or no gripes at all.

The Dems conduct in the '08 election was the best example of "people parroting sound bites and slogans" that I've ever heard. They must have gotten together on a chat board or conference call every morning to decide which buzz phrases were going to be used that day.
From press pundits to candidates, every comment made on every news program I watched, they all had the same spiel daily.

Ever notice when liberals are confronted with truth all they do is fling crap? What really matters is getting rid of Ried and the rest of the progressive democrats. Hard to believe any real American would want a con man like Ried in office or for that matter any other democrat in office after they voted through all the spending..
