Well it's good to see the responses so far. Many places are nice to visit... but when you live there YOU are the competition on THEIR home turf! All they have to do is see how you hold your fork when you eat and hear your voice and they know you are from America. Then you're responsible for everything that is wrong with the world. Experience speaking. The one thing about Australia & N.Z. most people overlook is it's actually referred to as Australasia. Think Bali in Indonesia & bombings and mad muslim extremists going through villages hacking people up who aren't like them. Indonesia is only "a stones throw" off northern Australia like Cuba is to Miami... Except one big difference! 229 million Muslims who would like to have everything Australia has to offer. Australia's defence plan is literally a fall back line just above Sydney... That means Darwin, Cairns, Northern territory, Birsbane, RTHE US base at the Pines, all gone! The top 2/3rds of Aus surrendered with little resistance.... How can they resist, they disarmed their people... it's the US power that ALLOWS them to have their independence. As for N.Z. one of my friends from their put it best. We have a couple of Fizz boats & a potato. When US power is retracted, merciless regimes will spring forth. The World is at peril due to entitlement minde voters & anti Constitutional Gov't.

well that would be good accept an object in motion stays in motion and you would need a good anchor and some solid pontoons to stabalize a sailboat to fire .50cal form the bow.

Overbuilt at this moment, yes. But China and India have a huge population base that will carry the world economies in this century. Short-term pain maybe, but long-term gain most definitely.

At the expense of the United States, not to the benfit. This has already been underway, as well as the gross underestimation of the up and comming South American Economies.

to be the force we once were would require the goverment, the people and the military we once were , and this is far from being obtainable with in the current politcal sphere and world setting, ...globalization is the next big step, and untill we start by removing those that have international intrest set over US intrest in goverment this will never happen, untill the people realize a republic is superior to a democracy and remeber thats what we are, and untill the world stops moaning for marxist style globalism, we will not be the force at the national level we once were, ...our walls will cave in, and the leftist mind set that is the mainstream in the world will flood in, as it has recently in this country over social media, etc....no to mention, well...Iv'e said enough.

It will be up to the individuals and the communities to take it back at a grass roots level, just where it was lost....and restore form the bottom up,...peacefuly if possible, but always intelligently.

The current world sphere is making it a dangerous place for an independent leaning people to exist, ...let a lone an ACTUAL sovereign country.

I dont agree on the democratic principles part, a republic is a rule of the people, not the majority, not of government, but of the people through protection of by a constitution with inalienable rights endowed by our creator..., ...no democratic principles involved,...

Talk to a democrat (not neccesarlily an American) about inalienable rights endowed by our creator and tell me if they believe in a republic with democratic principles...

You can't be "A", and establish your "principles" in "B"... but still remain "A"

Fundamentaly Democrats believe that the goverment is there to regulate rights...IE freedoms, in most cases in the name of public saftey, witch is also according to democratic values a reposnobility of government, ...protection of the boarders maybe, ...protection of individual , ...NO.

"freedom for safety trade" is an argument that would never fly in a true republic.

Yes. Factories here. Agricultural production here. Natural resource development here. That is one reason I almost welcome peak oil; it would necessitate doing all of the above here at home.

That's why I break my writing up,so I can proof read it and it is easy for not very literates to read.

EZ,we have factories sitting empty that could be converted into most any kind of factory.We have warehouses,that I did ground work on many,that are sitting empty.Most have the maximum electricity capabilities for the size and location.There are 1000s or square feet of warehouse empty and probably on the auction block,that can easily be used for manufacturing.

We have millions on government programs that we could put to work.Why give say,North Face or REI tax incentives for opening a factory in Shri Lanka,when we need the work here.
If we are going to be the mercenaries for the world (excuse me,mercenaries are PAID) WE need to keep those tax benefits HERE

We ARE A REPUBLIC, The constitution needs to be backed up to about the 14th ammendment. Their is a grass roots people & they are starting to Move and the roots go DEEP.
