Is Anybody Watching "Childhood's End" on Scfy ?

It's a 3 night "event" series that's apparently about the world's population giving up free will, self reliance, and personal freedom in exchange for utopian security controlled by warn and fuzzy alien overlords...and it may not end well.
based on an Arthur C. Clark novel written in the 50's

I recently read the book. Its a interesting story. I doubt very seriously they will capture the storyline, mostly because the end simply could not be expressed well told in pictures and words.
I'll have to check out the TV show. If I can get it watched I'll report back.
