They been saying that for the past 10 years. I haven't seen an increase in earthquakes in that area for the past 2-3 years.
I live about 120mi from it. Aint too scared yet. Got a mountain range in between, sooo..

Here's a comparative map. Note size of the previous three Yellowstone ash beds compared to the "puny" deposit puffed out by Mount Saint Helens.

It's them durn leftists undermining American institutions! Socialist always digging underground and sowing explosive controversy. Mammoth lakes area in California is also bulging, as well as the South Sister volcano in Oregon. But it's the Commies that live under your bed and probe you at night while you sleep that bring you the end times, as you know it........................elsullo

That will happen about the same time Mt Rainer eruptsd and takes Orting and Puyallup into the Sound

If it does it does, and we'll just have to live with the aftermath.

But I suspect it will be many generations down the road. We all will be dead from WWIII

    That's what I call Prepared!!

Actually the most recent article on this refers to the frequent earthquakes in the area as the caldurn breathing, sometimes magma rising, other times decreasing. The many earthquakes, that this area experiences, relieves the pressure and further disappates the lava/magma. This has been going on for many many years.

Didn't they say that Mt Baker or Rainier (I forget which) is suppossed to blow like every 2000 years (on the dot) but she is past due...all this fear mongering crap. If she blows really, what CAN you do about it? No sense worrying about something you can't survive if it happens anyways...if you're really worried about it, move to the UK.

If you're going to move to the UK you can't take your guns. I'll take them and give them a good home!!

If Yellowstone goes we all go.. it would cause worldwide famine.. No sunlight, poisonous ash and gases, fires, and not to mention the explosion alone.. who knows what else would happen haha.. seriously.. i doubt you can survive it.

Let's pass legislation to ban volcanic activity. They are dangerous and bad for the enviroment.

Yes, there's actually a conspiracy going on to try and blow Yellowstone up prematurely. The Illuminati and S.P.E.C.T.R.E. are cooperating in this effort, but only because it is within both of their interests to have the United States taken out of the picture as a global superpower. I know this because of my many inside contacts within these organizations. I have heard the man with the cat is the one leading the conspiracy. This is the only picture of him I was able to get.

I don't think any amount of preperation you do will work for this one boys, when I went to yellowstone last year I was absolutely amazed and how huge the crater of this thing was, as well as how much ash blew out in the past eruptions, hard to even fathom. If it blows you can kiss ur azz goodbye!, or you'll wish you were dead soon enough...:)

Yellowstone eruptions only happen every 600,000 to 800,000 years. I personally think the chance of it happening is so remote that there is no reason to consider it in disaster planning.

From what I've read, it's over due. And when it goes, that's pretty much all she wrote for life as we know it, except for cockroaches and Keith Richards.
