iron sights for FN AR?

Picked up a new FN AR, they come with no sights of any kind. Rail on top, relatively short, COULD mount iron sights... but too close together, Not as accurate.

Anyone with any ideas on how to mount iron sights (maybe even something like Trijicons?) to this rifle? I suppose I COULD have someone cut a dovetail.... I'd guess that would cost a significant amount. It has the bull barrel, plenty of "meat"... but I'm thinking there might be a better plan.'
Ideas?

I don't believe the FNAR was meant to have iron sights. it's supposed to be a designated marksman type rifle.

That said, you could try and screw on a railed FSB from an AR, you could mount a BUIS to that, it sounds a little strange though.
