Anyone heard of great Alaskan bear guides Bill Pinnell and Morris Talifson. When I was a kid in the 80's I spent countless hours sitting in their cabin in rural Alaska listening to those two guys BS. They were both friends of the family. When Morris left Alaska, he gave his .375 bear rifle (which he called "three and six bits")to my Grandfather. When I get drawn for a Kodiak bear hunt, I will be hunting with that rifle.

I've never had a cup of coffee or a beer. I held a cigarette once.

I worked for the first company to partner with the first Palm Pilots - the precursor to today's smart phones.

Oh, and on the 'interesting job' front - I got paid to surf porn as QA for an internet filtering company.

When I was a reserve officer we learned to drive patrol cars under a 747.

My great great grandfather was shot by vigilantes while in the sheriffs custody. He had shot two men who he claims where building a fence on his land (he owned a ranch in Prineville Oregon) The sheriff hauled him in for questioning but he was not arrested. He was under a kind of house arrest at a local hotel. During the night a group of vigilantes broke in, shot him and drug him behind a horse to the crooked river bridge where they hung his corpse along with his hired man. His widow was in such a rage over the events she tried to gun down the sheriff in town the following day but he escaped. This happened in march of 1882, he was 31 years old and my great grandfather was not born for another 6 months. This started whats known as the Crook County reign of terror. His death was the start of two years of lawless terror where vigilante justice was doled out by mask men on horse back. The whole thing was later as the basis for several stories in "Masked Rider Western" pulp-fiction magazine

There are vastly different versions of the story. In some of them my G G Grandfather is painted as a innocent man protecting his ranch from thugs. In others is is portrayed as a cold blooded murder.

This is the version of events that I choose to believe

Yikes:eek:Ironmonster. My Mums kin lived in Prineville , well before 1882, and a long time there after. But I am most certain they were on vacation in March of 1882. During this most tragic event, or I mean most alleged tragic event. If I recall right while reading their journals, I think they were sunbathing in the Caribbean. Chilln' with Jack Sparrow, don't quote me, but pretty sure? Funny don't think much has changed in Prineville, since good ole' 1882. And I sure as hell would not brag about voting democrat there, you could end up on the same said bridge. :D:D

I played poker (7 card stud) against Tony Stewart a few years ago in Las Vegas once.

When he sat down at the table, I knew who he was but didn't say anything. (Nor did anyone else.) After a couple of hands I couldn't resist it anymore. He was squinting to see the cards, especially at the other end of the table. I asked him if NASCAR knows he can't see very well. He (along with the whole table) laughed, this lady said to him, "That's who you are! I knew you looked familiar". Of course it went on from there for a few minutes.

He got up and left a little while later.

This is one of the reasons why I believe he simply did not see that kid he hit on the track last year.

20% ear wiggler

I can individually flex muscles in my body
No.. I do not preform for anyone but my wife.

She doesn't like me dancing on the bed.

I have red hair, blue eyes, have an under active thyroid and low testosterone. I take weekly testosterone shots. I'm also 33, had 20/15 eye sight until stress turned it to 20/400 in one year when I was 17.

I get cluster headaches, used to have night terrors (never had one since I've been with my wife of 11 years). Had my first kid when I was 17 and a junior in high school.

Can't stand condiments (taste or smell)

I'm weird. Really weird. People find me abrasive. Some may say that I'm as smooth as 3/4" minus rocks on a salted wound.

I was on the Berlin wall while it was being taken down, me with red arrow over my head in pic!

My relatives were gold miners during the 1849 Gold Rush in California and are buried there. I am also a die hard gold miner so it,s in my blood. My Great Grandfather had bought a copper mine in Michigan and my Great Grandmother did not like Michigan and wanted to move back to Yugoslavia to be with family. So my Great Grandfather sold the copper mine cheap to a big mining corporation and that same mine turned out to be a multi million dollar copper mine. I may have been a wealthy heir, oh well. My Dad is Serbian, the same place that the awesome Zastava AK 47 factory is located. Cool!

I shook Jerry Boykin's hand.
Had a panic attack while hanging from a parachute.
Quit riding motorcycle after getting run-over a second time.
Disappointed my Dad when I joined the Corps.
Dad said he was proud of me when I graduated boot camp as platoon honor man
Married to the same woman since 1981
Bought a mini-lathe-mill

My dad's great grandfather came out from Michigan,to Seattle, during the Alaska gold rush. He was deciding between buying waterfront in Seattle or going gold mining. He chose gold mining lol

I never liked flying commercially.:(
I felt like a sardine packed in with a bunch of sick, germ ridden people.....

Give me a Cessna 172 or a helicopter, and I'm lovin' it.:s0105:

In Aug of 2001, I was in the Denver airport, on my way back from Dallas, getting ready to fly back to Sacto., where I was boarding a small prop plane (I think it was Alaska Air...no problems with those planes) to fly to Medford.:) (whew!)

For some reason, the thought of getting on that large airplane made me extremely nervous.:eek:o_O

I started sweating bullets.:s0010:The more I tried to stop thinking about it, the more nervous I got.

I tried to calm myself, but I think it was some sort of Panic attack.........My shirt was soaking wet by the time I boarded................but no red flags were raised anywhere............:s0052:

I vowed that was the last time I would fly commercially.:confused:o_O

One month later, my actions would have raised a few concerns....:s0087:

Today I either drive, rent a small plane (& pilot) or a helicopter (& pilot).

The last time I rented a helicopter, it was$.29 per SECOND!!!!!!:s0059::s0032:

.29 a second? So what, that is roughly $100/hr? That does not seem unreasonable at all for a quarter million dollar hunk of machinery

Lets do the math, shall we?

$.29 per second
X60 = 1 minute
$17.40 per minute
X60 = minutes in 1 hour

$1,044.00 per hour

I'm just sayin':D:):D:)

BUT, if you know where I can rent one for about $100 per hr., PLEASE, let me know ASAP!:D

OH, and if you know where I can buy a 4 seater for $250,000.00, PLEASE let me know ASAP!:D
