Looking for price to properly install /tune my surefire Flash Hider.
I have flash hider, washers, instructions etc. I'll pull factory flash hider and clean/prep the barrel threads. This is mounting on a Stag AR platform.

Hoping this could be done while I wait.

    Thanks,
    John

Watched this video. Prior to this I thought it was screw off /screw on. Plus the surefire model I have doesn't have the crush washer as described. Looks like washers all go inside the flash hider between barrel. I'm understanding the process ok but want to be sure that the torque is correct and everything done by the book so that 6-8 months from now when the Can shows up the holes are aligned.....

You are right, sorry, I got the header off of new listings and didn't see that.
Anyway they are outstanding. They did mine while I waited and shopped for other goodies :)

I am in the process of replacing all of my 51 tooth flash hiders with AAC Brakeout's after reading a couple of articles explaining the detrimental erosion of the suppressors first baffles when using flash hiders.
The Brakout redirects the gases sideways and will sacrifice itself instead of the cans first baffle.

In my experience it is not wise to use a crush washer if you are going to use a suppressor. I did, and ended up with a baffle strike.
