It's not an AD. He purposely fired the shot in the ground to get the heckler to back up, as he was yelling at them to get away.

Holy smokes. Those Russians are some crazy bad-a$$ mo fo's. So many opportunities to get seriously hurt or killed in these drills. Obviously they go through very intense training before they get to this point.
