We're looking at a redistricting in Oregon. Currently Oregon law says the legislature decides how lines are drawn. This petition puts it to the people of Oregon to change that law so a "Commission" made up of a MIXED group of people, Left, Right and others, will make the decision on redistricting, INSTEAD of the legislature.
I know it's a butt load of reading, and I didn't read it all. You need to read the "Qualifications" and "Disqualifications" sections at the very least. Looks like it's a shot at ending gerrymandering in Oregon.
