"Can someone please have Chad Carter correct a statement he just made on the morning news regarding the story of the men carrying rifles in Sellwood. He stated that it Oregon law allows individuals to carry firearms with the proper license. In fact, Oregon law allows individuals to carry firearms without ANY license but also allows municipalities to impose restrictions on the carrying of loaded firearms. City of Portland ordinance permits the open carry of loaded firearms by those individuals that posses a valid concealed weapons permit. It is your responsibility to inform the public. Be responsible journalists, please."
