I am so tired of the left's lame-o excuse of "not implemented right" in yet another failed Communist state. I guess it wasn't implemented right in the Soviet Union, Albania, Bulgaria, Cuba, Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Hungary, Mongolia, Poland, Romania, Yugoslavia, North Korea, Vietnam, Laos, the Congo, Angola, and a bunch of other countries I am forgetting, too. In all of them, the economy didn't work and civil rights violations were the norm. Gee, maybe the system is just pure evil and unworkable? Nope, after a century littered with Communist state terror and eventual failure, the "progressives" think it is still worth a go.

I can speak to Mozambique on that count 100%. We tried it. It didn't work. Drown the proponents in the bathtub and save everyone tears.

You are going to see the big move to a tur d world nation when they get rid of the $100 bill and only allow $20s and lower. When it gets to credit cards only for most purchases the road is straight down hill.

Sad, isn't it? Evidently, they haven't learned a thing from history. Communism/Socialism/Fascism aren't viable forms of government. They ultimately fail. Any cognitive juices been expended to why they continually point to the downfall and events of 'other' countries or places instead of looking right here in this country?

Think about a few things:
1. School children, if their lunch account goes in arrears are give two pieces of bread with a slice of cheese and a glass of water for their only meal! Oh btw, school sessions provide only one meal, during breaks or summer period there is even one meal!

2. There are uninhabitable slums here, yet our citizens live there because the underpasses are already taken!

3. Our treatment of our citizens suffering from MH issues, or homelessness, or lacking rudimentary medical care, is a disgrace!

4. The concept that the religious or social groups can't help or keep out with the onslaught is ludicrous (passing thought if religious enties were not exempt from taxation oversight there would be 50+BILLION/a year extra funding)

5. Our taxation polices are atrocious as the rich fail to pay even a small portion of their fair share?

6. I shan't even begin to broach this country's nonexistent governance or won't mention it is worse at the state level for our citizens?

Why do the article(s) you cites only speak of other countries when all they need to do is just look in our great union for exactly the same examples!

What sort of twisted Democrat thinks it has ever been a school's obligation to feed students? That is the job of the parents not society in general and most particularly not schools.

Can't afford kids? Give them up to families that can or better yet stop having kids.

Watching Venezuela fail is just good fun. When the get enough they'll pick up guns and take care of business and lynch their socialist overlords.
