Hello - I just now joined this forum because I'm trying to find Doug Arnold, who owned Arnold Arms in Arlington. Doug was my neighbor for a lot of years in Kirkland, WA, beginning in the late 1970's. I have a Winchester 94 30-30 that I feel rightfully belongs to him, and I've been trying to locate him for years to return it. Can anybody suggest a way I might be able to contact him, or his son, Mike?

Thank you for that! I just hope I can find Doug or his son, Mike. I think you guys have set me on the right path to at least find Mike.

PS - I've never fired that rifle, and Doug told me he had only fired it once when he turned it over to me. I recently bought 300 rounds for it, but I won't fire it unless I'm convinced I will never find Doug or Mike. May I find one of them! And I just cleaned and oiled it a few days ago

Success! Found Doug Arnold and returned the Winchester.

I am happy to report that Doug's daughter just happened to google "Arnold Arms" one day recently and saw my post about "Trying to locate Doug Arnold or his son, Mike". So, she joined the forum to contact me, and we got together. So last
Friday she came over and got the gun and various things I had gotten to with it. Then Saturday, she drove to where he lives and gave it to him. She reports he was very happy to get it.

Below are 3 pictures. The first is of Doug and his daughter, taken a while ago at the range. The second is of Doug holding the Winchester when he got it on Saturday. The third is of Doug in his "usual state", i.e., going right to work on the Winchester

If anyone would like to contact Doug or get more info, please send a private message to his, daughter, "Sweet Tooth", on this forum.

And before I go, I'd like to thank all the people on this forum who provided helpful information and good wishes for successfully finding Doug Arnold!
