One's voluntary digital footprint is bad enough. But when what should be confidential information is leaked or breached, the people and companies responsible should be on the hook for any and all damages ever suffered electronically by the victims.

I was reading about Data Brokers this morning, and the extent of information they disseminate for profit.

So if I disappear from NWFA soon, y'all will know why. It's f^(#ing scary how much these people know.

By the way you can walk right into the elections department and order a list of pretty much every voter in the state. Including date of birth, address, party affiliation and some other stuff. Just for a small fee and signing a document that you wont use the list for bad stuff.

looking at the list of details, this is pretty much what Oregon has on every voter and can be obtained at the elections department for a small fee.

"Privacy is not of major concern in the Soviet Union; it is often contrary to the collective good"-Political Officer on Red October (The Hunt for the Red October)

Well if you all would just get the chip implant then they would not have to collect the data and put you on lists. They would know everything about all the time even our thoughts.

Can anyone say Orwell's 1984

America is not free any more is it?

There is no "privacy" any more. One should just assume that everything you say online, place on paper or sign your name to is public information.

The only secret that is safe between two people is the one that's never told.
