You'd be amazed the reflection a optic puts off.....just think a signal mirror. A nice target for counter snipers to shoot at.
Pretty sure none of the Sage Rats, Coyotes, Rabbits, Hares, Deer, or Elk have a sniper rifle I need to worry about. Not sure about the Bears they can be sneaky.
. Good one. Just an extra item to keep in mind though. They are easily removable. But may someday be a life saver. Hopefully never needed. An old piece of nylon stocking works in a pinch, but the ard's are cheap. Just something a lot of people might not think of unless they have used them. They are crap in low light, but on sunny days, ....... A good shade tube works also. The objective lenses are great today with the new coatings but some are like what someone said, like a signal mirror. Funny comments here though But if ever needed not so funny to forget to use one. How many non mil folks would even think of using one. They could be near you someday........... But with the IR available today everyone looks like a big signal mirror anyway...........the old days were good.
actually true if someone can see to put crosshairs on the reflection. That might play hell on the retina and everything behind it
