    ahhhhh, to daydream.

For me it's a toss-up between an Accuracy International AE MK II
    and an M21

    how about you?

I'm leaning towards a SOCOM16. Close to the M21, but a little less weight. Works well with iron sights in case the scope breaks.

If all I got was 1 gun, it would have to be a semi-auto, unless no one else gets guns at all, then I might choose a bolt-action. ;)

I remember when I was trained to work on those... Mounted on the G model Cobra AH-1... But once I went to Active Duty was AH-1F with the 20mm and AH-64 with the chain gun... Nothing is quite as fun and watchin the minigun spin up and let loose of 4000 rpm!

The Colt 1911 my grandfather carried in WWII. not a replica...the exact one.

He actually owned it at one point because you could often buy your weapon after service in those days and sometimes others would do it for you as a gift. He sold it for booze money since he loved alcohol and hated guns. :(

M256 120MM, Mounted to my own personal M1A1 tank, would say M1A2 but that was after my time. Of course with the crappy MPG of 5 gallon per mile and 15 gallons just to start the baby up I guess I just could not afford to use the damn thing, SOOOO I guess I will have to stick to my old Marlin 60 .22 cal my grand father left me, oups man I forgot at $30-$35 a box for lousy .22 I can't really afford to shot that much either since I got laid off! OK how about a nice wrist rocket sling shot, last I heard rock are still free and I could live off ground diggers and birds.

Fusion Longslide Tactical Hunter 10mm with red dot scope. Would be the best tweener for a handgun rifle....

I would like a new M-14 with selector, that someone stashed in the 60's..Include a boat load of 7.62 and I'm in heaven.

Rem. 788 with "my" loads 55gr nosler bal. tips @ 4000fps. I pretty much would have my pick of guns after a few spent rds. if we're talking one gun for survival. Old gun but very accurate and very versitile ammo choices.
