Nope. Just guns and mags BUILT during the ban.

Good point.

At that time I stumbled across an ammo can with 10 GI 30 rounders at a garage sale. $10 for the lot. I think I burned my jeans getting my wallet out of my pocket so fast.

'96 ish I Picked up a box full of supposedly post ban 25 round Galil .308 mags for cheap which were all date stamped before the ban but had mistakenly been engraved "LEO and Mil Only" by the importer. Going price was $100 at the time for prebans which those actually were so I "refinished" them and made a very tidy profit. Very tidy indeed.

Well some of us lived in the pre-socialist state of Komifornia at the time. It will be worse next time, in fact Oregon already drafting new laws won't be safe this time unless ppl wake up and stop playing keyboard camandos there is much more going on then NWFA is aware or the NRA..but no one listens...

The word "Ban" means different things to different people. The '94 Ban was a total joke. The grabbers learned from their mistakes and a few more high profile massacres from now , with a lame duck President fighting for ratings on their side and a Democratically controlled Senate and House I expect something a bit more Draconian. It won't happen tomorrow but 2 years from now all bets are off.

That's an understatement. Have you seen the crazy gun control demokkkRats in Minnesota want? But they just want common sense gun safety my arse,,,

Cheeto Jeezus talks out his rear and demokkkRats go full kommiefornia retard,,,

Bans, mean no more production in most cases. In the past it meant buying used or new old stock marked up, a flat ban is Tyranny. And we as Americans should stand and Act against these characters in politics who want these type of bans.

California started this BS. They refined and changed the laws as they seen fit. Now they have control since most got castorated. Oregon is making their laws based on what has already stuck down South. Oregon has had the playbook and are still on the field. I think what's been happening is mostly coming from other states influx, and by the time (now) Washington lays down their rules, they'll have enough proven laws (notes) already in their playbooks to get them to stick. Or so they think. Whatever comes of all the hoopla is gonna hit hard. And seeing the turnout today just throughout the United States, this is the same way every Pro2A gun owner needs to make a statement for the 2nd Amendment. In force by numbers attending. Either that, or prepare to get consumed. As said, us sitting here on the forums groveling does nothing for the cause. We need a nation-wide visual standing representing who we are. It's been mentioned in several other threads we need leaders that know how to make a stand, people who know the laws, that can lead us in an organized and legal (gun free?) manner.

Excuse me while I crawl back under my proverbial rock.

The danger is at the state level.

If the ballot initiative gets enough votes, then we will be well on the way to where Calif. is now. Registration with increasing restrictions made by executive fiat. Eventually they will just say no more like Connecticut has and then your only choices will be to move out of state (or move the guns out of state), give up your guns, or become a felon subject to arrest on the state coming around and checking whether you still have the guns.

This is what I see as the future in Orygun and later Washington (I thought WA would be first, but now I think we will be). Not sure what I will do. :(

Sadly many of us my self included put trust in sources that would fail at stopping anything and
now we have the aftermath of a poor defense.

What would the implications be for all of us suppressor owners? Keep what we have and never be able to buy/order another? Never be able to have a gunsmith thread another semiauto barrel for us? No second hand threaded barrel sales? Nasty subject.
Threaded barrels will need to be pinned/ welded with a non flash suppressing mount . The mount is threaded to accept the suppressor, the mount is not the barrel. Too early to tell details though .

Once pinned/welded its considered part of the barrel. If the mount is threaded for a suppressor, and its permanently attached to the barrel, then the barrel is then threaded. Lawyer speak, they don't need to understand how guns work to at least come to this conclusion.

It has to be an integrated suppressor. If they even let suppressors still be legal.

It seems disputable if youre a suppressor owner , jumped through all the hoops . Isn't threaded really just going after flash hiders ? Suppressors being already regulated ? I totally see you're logic

Its to go after both flash hiders and suppressors. Really the only thing they'd let you have is a permanently attached muzzle brake.

Previous worthless bans have targeted new production not existing firearms. Future bans will likely target detachable magazine semiautos without consideration to features.
