The counter-arguements in the article are ok.

Sending immigrants to seize weapons takes-away much of the stress that would be associated with fighting back.

Interesting that those demographic groups most responsible for violence are the ones in favor of gun control. BTW, I am a legal immigrant and very much pro-gun.

If they are writing about it, it ain't a secret anymore.

And while it is a persuasive argument, my guess is that every immigrant isn't eager to move away from their craptacular homeland, only to recreate it here. My guess is that at least some of them will not lean in the direction of "gun control" only because if they came from places where the citizens had no guns, and they got to see what happens when only the government and the criminals do; they would likely embrace this particular civil right.

But on the flip side to the argument, there aren't enough bullets or testicular fortitude to come and get them if they decide that rounding up the guns is a good idea.

I'm not so sure about that, look at the people moving from the PRK (Peoples Republik of Kalifornistan) to OR and WA. Many moved to north to escape the oppression they lived under down south, but it seems that the vast majority that are moving to the PNW wants to change OR and WA into the PRK north.

You can see how well that's working out for us.

Some of this may be true but if you were a mexican moving from a war torn nation,wouldn't you like to be able to have a gun? I mean you know what not having a gun means.
How about other immigrants from other nations? You don't think they like the ability to have a defensive weapon at home ,unlike back in the old country?
I'm sure some of the western europe immigrants would be for no weapons but I don't believe they will get all the new immigrants to go for confiscation.

The genuine rancor towards their own country is sickening.

If there was ever a stopping point to the liberal agenda; it would have occurred long ago, the mantra calls for ambiguous stopping points like "common sense", "fair share" etc, no end in sight.

The Left simply cannot be appeased.
