Currently the IDPA leadership is open to updates to the current rule book from members.
But that will change as they want to lock down the rules for 2 years.

If you didn't see the email -- look here: http://idpaforum.yuku.com/topic/11335/May-14th-2014-EBlast-from-HQ#.U3QKoPldWcE

"This year, we will continue quarterly clarifications to the rulebook and will open it to member suggestions after Nationals. Those suggestions will be reviewed and an updated rulebook will be released in Q4, taking effect Jan. 1, 2015."
"Also, opening the rulebook too frequently doesn’t allow for the sport to stabilize after rule changes have been made. So once the 2015 rulebook is done, it will be closed for a period of not less than 2 years."

There are some thread starters in the Rules Section at the idpaforums, - if you have items not really to discuss, but to serve as reminders - you might add them to those threads.

IIRC, there was some concern that so few members submitted items for the NRB, so I ask everyone to talk up this process at your local matches.
