What do you not like about it: looks, feels, or...? I have the 7.5 inch version and it takes away some of the recoil compared to the earlier versions.

Have you shot it yet? Does it feel okay?

I have not seen one with all wood, but the earlier versions had some wood and rubber in the grip. They were brutal in my hands.

I have the Super Redhawk in .480 Ruger. It came with wood/rubber insert grips, which look fine in my opinion. But, that thing wore out the spot ahead of my knuckle on my middle finger - OUCH! I tried the big ugly Hogue rubber grip, but my hands were too small for that. I ended up with a Pachmayr Decelerator grip. It's not the finest looking, but it sure is more fun to shoot that .480.

It's just. .22LR Ruger Wrangler (for my grandson), but you can go from the "Black Bart" look and get this type of look for a Blackhawk, and Redhawk for a modest price.

Altamont look great on their website until they arrive in the mail. They are to narrow for big bores.

Check out a set of Pachmyer Presentaions. The ones for the Redhawk are big which I believe the Eagle's are modeled after. The Super has the same grip frame as the GP100. Another popular grip is the Uncle Mikes.Mike's.

Here some bisleyish customs on a Redhawk by Rob Rowen I believe.
