I was wandering around Amazon and something caught my eye...

We've seen braces like this... this one is solid aluminum and runs about $130

Seems like it would work on a pistol buffer tube quite easily or could be modified to as well. If one used it as a cheek rest, then SBR regulations wouldn't apply.
I wouldn't put 1 second of time into it until after august when the ATF rule comes out personally. We don't know what the rules are or how much (if any) of the previous scorecard will be used.
 
I am pretty sure that the new rules are already out and that August 2022 is the deadline to be "legal", i.e. register as SBR or be less than four points each on both sections of the worksheet. I also believe that the original worksheet from 2021 is the same as the one that is on the ATF website now.
