A guy that doesn't own a gun in that caliber! You know. Just in case. :s0140:
I remember during the sandy hook panic, I bought several boxes of unobtainable 9mm ammo just because they were hard to find. I didn't own a 9mm pistol at all until several years after that. I also bought 44mag ammo before I bought the revolver.

Scan it how? My phone wont scan it, just takes pics
The phone I recently replaced didn't scan. Didn't take very good pics, either.
Yeah there was, who buys ammo by the box?

I bought three boxes of 257 Roberts ammo at Rickreall 4 years ago. After I bought the ammo I called @Velzey to see if he still had the rifle it fit in. Bought the rifle the next weekend. :D

Now they're requiring ID for snow shoes . How else am I supposed to get to school uphill both ways this winter?? Ride a stegosaurus???

In actual news, I bought ammo 3 times at various bimarts this weekend and was carded 5 times. What are the odds?

Pretty soon they're gonna ask ID to buy undergarments in not your gender style

Sure enough.
Carded when I bought my case on Tuesday.
Not a big deal.

With all the cameras in place no a days, there is no real expected privacy outside of your own space.

So....
I will often just buy a box or two when passing the gun shop...over time it adds up.

It sure does! When I was consolidating my ammo recently I was amazed at all I had. Some was a complete surprise, too!
I'm still finding ammo that I missed when I thought I was gathering it all up.

The key really is to have multiple places where you store the stuff. I've got a wimpy ammo cabinet that is always stuffed. Then there are the two shelves under the gun cabinet. I know you're not supposed to store ammo with your guns, but I've always got a little something stored in the safe. Then there is the closet that holds my empty brass, bulk ammo and new purchases that won't fit elsewhere. Then there are the wooden hinge-top ammo boxes on top of the safe with some older ammo. With a memory like mine, every day is Christmas.
