My dad just dug this out of a box-
thinking it's a harrington & richardson model 1880?
is it worth repair? Cylinder spins freely clockwise and does not line up. . 20201202_172445.jpg 20201202_172500.jpg 20201202_175231.jpg

It looks to be one of these two models and I think the date on the barrel is 1889 not 1880 but need a better pic. That's a .32 cal, not easy to find ammo for but a very cool fin piece I have a colt that's very similar also in .32, it's fun but I suck with it 8)

Oh and the shift lever is simply worn down, Numrich may have a new one, or any GOOD gunsmith can add to the lever and file for correct cylinder timing.

I have a similar one that Is a 5 shot.
The maker on mine is Iver Johnson.
In my opinion, it should stay in the box.
Mine is hammerless and is not usable, as far as I am concerned.
Does the cylinder come out when open?It would rotate counter clock
wise if it is Iver Johnson.
I cam send photo if you want! TKH
