We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
Anyone have any experience with the new IAC-imported Turkish 1911? It's being referred to as a model R100, and I think it's manufactured by Tisas. Supposedly it's produced under license from Norinco. Inexpensive, which sometimes means cheap and sometimes means bargain.
Good looking. Nice Fit, SS barrel. Same quality as Rock Island (Phillipines). Made in Turkey, Still part of Europe. Base model GI 1911. $420-$450 retail. Otherwise pay an extra $50 and get a Springfield GI (made in Brazil). ?!? Turkey, Phillipines, Brazil? It aint your grandpa's 1911. I think the Kahr/Auto Ordnance GI 1911 is still made in US, around $500.
