It was a Colt pre woodsman. I bought it because it was underpriced. Not the sort of thing I generally like. Anyway, it shot well at 50 yards. I didn't always, but it sure did. I think I like this one from 1921. It really liked certain ammo I used. (Norma target) Didn't seem to like blazer that much accuracy wise.

Personally I think they are ugly. But it shoots well and points natural and I like the sights. In short, it won me over.

Well, if I knew an old guy who wanted to shoot, I'd absolutely take him shooting. My mentor was an old man who was a blacksmith from Eastern Washington originally. WWII veterans are awesome to take shooting. I was trained to shoot by WWII vets actually.
