The "other site" is a 100% pro-Constitutional site. The site allows great discussion as well as differing opinions and ideas. The difference between this site and "the other one" is that is doesn't tolerate individuals who choose to create divisions and harm with untruthful, dishonest, or divisive rhetoric and hate-speak ( like - if you want to take your business postings to a website that's one step above the Klan and does the same bullbubblegum that Obama' minions) .....Nice use of words!

So....consider it a privilege that you can wallow in the delusional quagmire that has been created for you among your friends that can't stomach the truth, after all the majority of the members on "the other site" fight every day for you to do so.

I have seen less gentlemanly posts here on NWFA. I enjoy both sites at this time. They both have a purpose, and each fills a need for me, but please, don't go all, " their liberal killing mad men over there," not the case.

PS: Joe, I get that the Mods don't have unlimited time or perhaps the inclination to either PM or post a few words of explanation for violaters. However, to most people not listing a cause is frustrating in the extreme! If you could figure out how to do that it would go a long way to solving some of the anger issues that have developed.

There really isn't any point in debating this any further. I appreciate your input and have a clear understanding of where most of you are coming from. Once we make the jump to the new platform and get the new moderators trained we can revisit this. I will say this though, if you are of the mindset that non-firearm political discussion, anywhere on this site, should be allowed, and are unprepared to follow the rule against it, you should probably leave now. I'm going to work to do everything in my power to make the moderation more consistent and more transparent, but many of you who are complaining about selective moderation are the ones who, in all honesty, will be getting warnings for violating that rule after we make the switch to the new software. We will be consistent and transparent, but we're also going to be tightening up to avoid the appearance of selective moderation.

I believe the climate here has changed largely due to the tyrannical and dangerous direction this country is currently headed in. Radical and tyrannical regimes that seek to transform the country into something alien and unfamiliar bring out the panic and desperation that many americans feel...and RIGHTLY so.

Every single gun board I read has had a similar turn of events. When the NAZI (National Socialist) party is rising it tends to bring out a reactionary response in the patriot.

Think about this...our own government has admitted to capturing and storing ALL internet communications and has had coordinated efforts by the Feds to ban entire classes of firearms.

Start paying attention. Progressivism (wronly labeled LIBERALISM) is the sole source of this course of events (in both parties). Progressives are the enemies of this country and need to be dealt with. How do I know this needs to happen? They are storing this.

1. Edits Out a PORTION, of a Post, and writes, WHY, or
2. Deletes out a full Post, and writes why.

I've been on forums since Usenet and The days of BBS's on my Commodore 64 (I even ran a C64 BBS) and mods have always used that standard method for thread closure. 25 years and running.

No software upgrade will change this. If you want it to be, make it so.

Type the words "Mods, give a reason when closing threads"

You can even just copy and paste what I just wrote to save time.

This seems too important to leave alone.

This is actually something we just realized. Rather than just deleting the post all together, the moderator can edit or delete the content and leave the reason without needing to leave the page. I'll make sure this is policy going forward.

I believe there is way to do this with threads also, but I'll have to look into it when I get a chance.
