One quick question for you, are you loading them to 2.260 or backed off a certain distance from the lands.

Long. Base to ogive is 1.915," 2.4" COAL or so. I'll have to check my notes.

Had to buy aftermarket mags so they'd fit.

I am run mine long using MTD aics mags in my rem700 action and they work great. My rifles nose was in the low 2,900 range but also use Varget. By the way I love the MDT mags.

When I get the time, I've got 1000 50gr Speer TNT hollow points to develop a varmint load with for my CZ 527 .223 rifle. I'll be using Win 748 Powder at least to start with.

What's your rate of twist?

I use Benchmark for 50 gr Ballistic Tips in both 1-8" and 1-10" Tikkas.

3,400 fps MV and scary accuracy.

Buy some Benchmark. Max charge according to Nosler for the 50 gr BT is 26.5 grains, that's what I use. Work up to it.
