I just bought primers for 2 cents each

So - C F & R is selling primers at approx. $23.00/K

BASS PS is selling them for $154.99/K

This is approx . 573% higher than C F & R.

So - if C F & R can still sell primers at a fairly 'normal' amount then why can't BASS PS (or others) not ?

Heck, even BI Mart in La Pine had some LPM last year for $4 a sleeve.

Ok. I hate you too now.

100 primers goes away pretty fast for me, so don't hate me too much!
A year ago I was almost out of large rifle primers, which scared the heck out of me! I normally keep 10,000 minimum of each size primer, and not sure how I got caught with less than 3000 LR primers?
Fortunately I began calling friends I know who often buy estates of gun guys who've stopped reloading, or passed on. One told me he had the primers I wanted, but "it is going to cost you!" So we met the next day, and he brought just over 12,000 primers with him. A mix of brands, and some older than others; but his price was $300 for all of them, so I got restocked above my safe lower limit.
The other day I called him again because my son in-law is getting into reloading, and he had nothing to sell. But he's the one who gave me the box of 100 at our OAC gun show last Sunday, so at least we got 100 LP primers to start out.

Thanks. I called my local store here and prices were more than double what you paid. $54 per 1000 for Federal. Still better than most places though.
