I've only seen owls in the wild a few times, but for some reason it's always an amazing experience.

We have them in the barn across the road and the great horned owls hang out in the trees and hoot at night. Great sound to hear. I helped a neighbor rehab some raptors about 15 years ago and it was great. Owls and hawks when pissed at you can bite real hard.
