Here’s a fact the animal rights crowd doesn’t like to hear, or to admit:

There wouldn’t be nearly as many (if any) vast tracts of publicly owned land to hike, bike, bird-watch, dog-walk, horseback ride, or generally gambol around on if regulated hunting did not exist. Funds generated by license fees and federal excise taxes on outdoor gear pay for these lands by an overwhelming margin. In fact, these monies dwarf all other sources combined — including the nearly nonexistent contributions of animal rights organizations (more on this in a minute). That means outdoor sportsmen are overwhelmingly the largest source of conservation funding in the United States….

Right to Hunt vs. Animal Rights

Yup, probably should be posted somewhere else. But since it is here....

You are exactly correct ZigZag!! It would require an increase in taxes for everyone if hunting and fishing were abolished. There would be a Ranger Station at every trail head to collect your use fee and issue you a parking pass. Want to just stop and look, nope! Those roadside turn outs would become pay sites.

Besides, the State would eventually have to hire professional hunters to monitor thin the herds on an annual basis. All because there will be no natural predation since the Animal Rights folk won't want to hike the woods with dangerous animals, just the cute ones. They haven't a clue!!

People that cry about hunting are the same idiots that have been born and raised in the city, decide to move out into the country and call 911 when their declawed Persian cat gets eaten by a Cougar. WAAAAAAAHHHHH!
