Hunters are you protecting the wild live stock? Is your harvest safe? Know whether your harvest is safe or not and how to keep it from spreading.

Hunters can also provide a sample if they encounter ODFW staff out in the field during hunting season." link to 'local office'= http://www.dfw.state.or.us/agency/directory/local_offices.asp

NWFA hunters, let us know what you know and what you think is right.

My understanding was that Chronic Wasting wasn't in OR. If I happen upon an ODFW agent in the field this season, I don't see a reason to not get my animal checked.

Every year, I call a bunch of the Oregon Fish and Game biologists and get the scoop on elk herds, success rates, conditions, etc. These guys (and gals) have never ceased to impress me with their help and incredibly helpful knowledge.

They ask me to always bring in the heads and sex organs. They scratch my back, I sure as *(&^ am going to scratch theirs.

We have an awesome F&G service here in this state and I think we should support them any time we can.

Smithmax and Visceral, we do have top notch F&G here. What say the rest of us about improving the herd and keeping safe? It seems there are stations to have testing done. But, they are not on every corner or post since we are not a rich state.
