Humor me..Are all AR butt stocks the same too?

I think for the price the ACS-L style is nicest. May not need that pod,I can use a sand bag for the price. What good does it do in the field? Can't always have that place to use it

Thanks for the responses,it's been fun looking these up. It's been about 2 years since I bought any AR parts other than a couple lowers I sold shortly after.
Lowers have a way of calling to be built that I can't resist

Like the bipod, its there if you can use it and there are no other alternatives available. Personally, I think its unnecessary weight, but YMMV. Different person, different needs/requirements to be met.

Not sure what that upper pictured above is, definitely not "Basically all AR's are the same" for that one.

Really? come on now... that is a strange one. See the area in front of the pivot pin? how small the ejection port seems? (maybe it is some self sealing deal with no dust cover?) No charging handle that I can see? (maybe a side charger on the bolt which is not a AR bolt?

I have seen a lot of AR's, Thats a new one on me.

My ARs are set-up for light weight, to me a 10-12 pound 223 is impractical, that's what an M!A weighs

Rogers Super Stoc Deluxe is nice as well. It has a snugging lever so no slop at all and the lever can be on either side.

Those 2 are the easiest detentes to contain.I usually tap the safety detente hole and plug it. Then if you ever need to take it apart again,the spring is contained .
Then you just have to remember the buffer stop

I put the Luth-AR MBA-1 on one of mine. You can find it for $100 +/-
Heaver than I'd prefer, but I like it's adjustability.

I can't see how the CTR 8.8oz and the MOE would be 14oz, the MOE is light than the CTR.
The BCM Gunfighter is 7.6oz.

I have the Magpul STR on all my ARs. I really like how tight it fits (has a friction lock), and the cheek weld is perfect for me with irons or optics.

+1 and ditto for me. Whoops, this is the rifle before I changed to Magpul STR....D'OOOHHH!

Well if you are going old school, how about this from Turnbull Mfg. Nicely figured wood and a case colored receiver. They don't list the price, you have to call to ask. I figure if I have to ask I can't afford it.
