Dude, no one has legitimately protested since the sixties. Protest has become a fad, a way to join the cool kids club. Back in the day, protesters had dogs set on them, fire hoses, people got shot. Nowadays, some mayday idiot from Eugene gets pepper spray in their eyes, its WHAA! poor pitiful me, and they file a lawsuit. Its a freakin' game anymore.

And back in the day, the folks dealing with dogs and fire hoses had legitimate beefs. Now its all street theater. Million mom what ever and the great nonesuch.

1. Show up to a riot, expect to suck a little gas. Don't be a pussy.

2. Pretend your side isn't a side, pretend your group isn't a group, what ever. Most of the people on this forum have actual life experience and know bull manure when we smell it.

3. The vast majority of this country has been hell bent on being polite heretofore. The left is doing there best to make us not so polite. And unlike the wenches of antifa, or the chicken bubblegum window breakers of BLM, or whoever the cool kids of the left you're making excuses for, most of us know the actual consequences of violence and insurrection.

We've been nice, we've been quiet, we're just trying to live out lives as best we can with out making too much noise. But if you push us to the line, well, we actually know the technical details of violence. We just finished a 20 year war, and you, what, shouted slogans at a downtown rally with a bunch of bone in your nose bubblegums? You can push things only so far.

You want to make excuses for people who have no intention of living in a polite society, that's you're choice. But history is warning us, there's a limit to that bubblegum. Be careful what you wish for.
