Thank you Dunerunner, I am in agreement with your observations. I really think we need to get out of the UN. The United States of America is the best country in the world even with the current administration trying to tear our country apart and down. God bless America....

I would start by rounding up all socialist, communists, and other "collective minded" political brands (that would impose their ideology on the rest of us), and drop them on an isolated land mass of their very own.

After that I would round up everyone involved with the Federal Reserve, have them beaten with rubber hoses and dropped off on aforementioned isolated land mass.

Eliminate constituent voting of Federal Senators, and return it to the original version of gubernatorial appointment... No more emptying the treasury for votes!

Mandate some form of National Service (minimum 2yrs. military or 3yrs. civil) to gain a voting franchise, that way EVERYONE has something PERSONALLY INVESTED other than the "happy accident" of your birth within our borders. BONUS-We wouldn't have a conscript military... You are free to choose service to vote, or no service and no vote.

No more jacking around our veterans affairs with endless forms, ever changing case workers, etc.


There is much more, but I have to leave for work... SOMEBODY has to pay income taxes to buy them Obama Phones.

I have an idea! How about enforcing the law? And no, I don't mean against some undocumented ag worker or petty drug dealer. I mean against the bankers and mortgage originators, and especially, the bond developers who engaged in a decade of outright fraud, ending in the worst economic crisis since 1929.
Bush promoted the law-breaking, and Obama has completely enabled the perps. Which is why this election is even close, what with the so-called Republican Party offering up a sleazy corporate raider as their standard bearer. If the Democrats had enforced the law, complete with hearings, trials and real jail time for 'masters of the universe', a deal would have long-ago been reached with the banks to write down mortgages across the board to reflect true market value.
Just that mark-to-market of mortgages would put a trillion dollars per year back into economic circulation without a tax dollar spent. Of course the too-big-to-fail would then fail. Oh well.

This is not new, either. From the day the first European set foot on what is now U.S. soil it has been this way. Our nation has a very short history but it is riddled with violence. Why would anyone be surprised at what our society has become?

First I would get rid of direct election of senators, and make them appointed by the states the way it originally was. This would make them statesmen again, and not puppets for the party system. Worst thing the parties talked the states into, and started us on the road to "democracy"

The easiest change that I can think of that would help put us as a country headed back on track, would be to tell every foreigner and foreign country or company that they can not own and part of our country.
That they may rent or lease a space, just like every other country in the world, but they can not own any part of us.
