As a group in this we need to give each other pointers on how to fight back against sb941 and future anti gun bills. First thing I will point out is know your enemies tactics he will use against you. Know what he can't fight against.

Alinski set up the rules for radicals that is used to defeat Americans. They stack meetings, try to make speakers look foolish and work together to make it seem they all know what is right and you dont. It's a well set up attack on your rights and it's worked well enough they get a majority in office. As a team you can defeat what they do by reversing their tactics and use it on them. Get friends in the meetings spread out then make their speakers look corrupt. Fight as a team

What they can't fight back on is the lone wolf. You hear them all the time saying it about the lone wolf terrorist and it's the same for the American patriot. Words and non violent deeds get their attention. Get on radio and call it corruption how they used an emergency power to pass gun OWNERS registration. Lots of radio shows night and day to get it out.

I suspect most of you who feel you want to do something should use the lone wolf to get out your disgust with the corruption. This is what I am doing until some of you will join me in a more coordinated event. I am not a leader but I am a good team member that will carry my part of the load. Veterans and Patriots are viewed as the enemy by the Left side of our Government.

They equate us to terrorists, enemies, etc. That is the first thing that needs to be countered and those that do it need to be the ones demonized and revealed for what they are.

Anyone that does not promote and follow Socialism, Marxism, Communism .
And those that do not condone things like common core, wealth distribution, and those that uphold Constitutional Values are considered the enemies by these people. That is the corruption that has become the dominating force in our government.

Those that Buy elections and politicians and agendas are the real enemy of this Nation. They should be treated as suck and penalties for their actions need to be installed our laws.

The recent purchase of elections and legislation in Washington and Oregon should be a felony with severe punishment for the Perps such as Bloomberg and the Soros types.

What they do is a crime upon the people and a crime on freedom.

TAKU, the last war I have never seen a bigger outpouring of affection by the people for our vets. The love of those people is a powerful force, a motivating force. I am going to ask for our vets to write letters and e mails in this fight with the signature on each clearing stating the vets service. I believe this communication will speak volumes more than what the rest of us have to say.

You are smart and articulate plus have a title that few can match because of your service. There are no better men than those who have put their lives up for others. If I can get vets to help then I have men with titles the corrupt ones will pay attention to.

Sir I am not a vet, wasn't medically sound, but I have the greatest respect for all who served. I can't lead you guys as I am not one of you but I know there is fine leadership amount you. We really need you guys to help.

Some of you guys fear drawing attention to yourselves in this and I agree that there is power out there that can make your life ugly. You have power in that they don't know you. You can still help with the fight by going to other sites and just talking about the boycott Oregon and how a gun emergency was declared. How it may not be safe to visit oregon. That government that we fear can be peacefully held accountable if we all fight the corruption.

We are doing pretty good on Facebook but we need more hits. Just ask question about oregon boycott.... This is a world wide media and we will get attention.

Keep building a team, get support from those willing to help us. Just ask them to use a little time on the net to write the opinion pages or mention the fight on facebook. We need more people that will fight corruption and protect their gun rights.

One way to fight back is to do what they are trying to stop... buy guns. This bill is just the first step towards much stricter gun control than we have had in the past. There is nothing the Dem's in Salem would love more than to disarm the populace.

To that end I increased my gun collection by 4 in the past 2 days. These additions probably would not have been purchased if not for SB941, and certainly not all at once.

Below from left to right are an Ortgies pocket pistol from the early 1920's in .32 ACP (thanks GOG), a Mauser model 1914 also in .32 ACP and of similar vintage, an Astra Model 400 in 9mm Largo from 1941, and a Polish Radom in 9x18 Makarov from the mid 60's.

All of us are viewed as the enemy that needs our guns and lives regulated. They are corrupt for not following the laws that protect us.

Average person drives 12,000 miles a year and about 25 mpg. That is 480 gallons of fuel per year at .42 a gallon tax or 200 bucks a year in gas taxes for regular vehicle. Say 1 million cars and trucks that's 200 million just in gas tax. If everyone cut one trip to the store each month how much money have you boycotted from the system?

The enemy isn't radicals. The enemy thinks they aren't the enemy. The enemy is everyone who belongs to the party in control of the state government including the two who voted against 941. They operate on emotion and believe what others in their party tell them without feeling the need to check facts or even get sources for the "statistics" they pass along to each other. They answer to money and power and cannot deny that after SB 941. They will tell you that big business is the enemy all while denying that their big government *IS* big business.

One way I will fight back is by supporting the enemy of my enemy through political contributions.

Did a search today on the boycott and the hits are growing, cal guns is the heart of the boycott discussion and turns up on the search. We need more folkes in there talking about boycotting Oregon and the corrupt way sb941 was put in. The search is showing up national now so if you could take a little time at cal guns and voice your disgust it would really help.

I was thinking about this same thing today, what do we do as a community. To me this SB941 needs to be repealed in addition to all other laws that conflict or step on the constitution. Enough of the hypocrisy, the constitution is the law of the land, if they don't like it they need to go and change it, let's practice what is "supposedly" being preached.
Several ideas came to me:
1. Power is in the numbers, we need to have some form of cooperation between all gun clubs/shooting ranges in Oregon and their members. We need to act as a whole, as a concerted team effort.
2. Money, presumably it can make a difference in politics. I was figuring $5/a month or even less for those who can't afford it x 10000 (10K shooters I'm guessing at least), for the next 2 years = $1.2M these should be sufficient (maybe?) to flip a few seats in the next elections?
It's sad and unfortunate but the state (and more generally the country) is on a very dangerous path of eroding personal liberties, where the constitution is going to be a document that people point to but not practice.
I am personally willing to volunteer time towards campaigns to spread awareness. I just know that if we continue to be on the defensive things are going to get far worse. We need to proactively push back and take initiative, to at least maintain things where they're at.
