I was wanting to delete the icon all together. That would leave me with three icons instead of four at the bottom of my screen.

I was able to stop the alert button from lighting up by unchecking a bunch of boxes in my account alert settings. This will serve the purpose I was looking for. It will make it difficult to respond to members who ask a question or otherwise comment towards my responses. I can click on reactions received page if I want an overview of who placed emoji reactions on my posts but I don't see a page where I can see who responded to my post with a comment. If anybody knows how to see those responses without using alert feature, let me know. I will be checking back on this thread periodically.
