In case your French is a little rusty - there are -

118 airgun positions - rifle and pistol - from age 8 up. All table-top electronic scoring.

60 x 25m positions + 3 positions for rapid fire. Again, electronic scoring...

75 x 50m positions...yup, more electronic scoring.

25 x 100m...yawn...

25 x 200m...yup.....including automatic re-setting metallic silhouette targets.

Not too shabby, eh?

Would it be too hard just to say 'hey, Guys, nice range facilities'?

Yes... it is. I wasn't impressed with the snotty bastiges I encountered while stationed in der Duetchland... rude richards.

Scenerio: Full dress uniform military event, multi-national military members attending.

Me:
Hi, how are you doing? I'm "Stomper". (Holds out hand to shake hands)

(their reply in snotty "Inspector Clouseau" voice)

"How nice for you" (snubs hand shake and keeps walking by).

Now the British soldiers, THEY were a fraking HOOT, and we all had a stellar time drinking and talking the sheite! ;)

Anyway, it is an awesome facility in the OP. You been?

Nice.

I wonder if it wasn't air guns how rich the exhaust fans would need to be so they could suck out all the smoke from Bullseye, IMRPB with some FFFF in there. I guess the outdoor range is a different story.

"they still haven't ever won a war... on their own."

Ah, the obligatory dig against the French. I guess it's a reaction against the fact we badly needed their help in our own Revolution. :) Also, your facts need checking...

I thought all their guns just shot out a white flag?!

In the AWI it was the French Navy and French military leadership that made a winning contribution to your efforts.

In WW1 the French suffered over a million and a half dead before the USA joined in.

In WW2 the Free French made immense contribution to the war effort in North Africa and elsewhere, and although they did not fly with American forces, they certainly did with the Royal Air Force.

Anyhow, this French-knocking is getting tedious, folks, perhaps it's time to move on to another target, eh?
