How not to be prepared for bear encounter

We spend a lot of time in Glacier National Park every year. Nobody in our family goes anywhere without bear spray, and I carry at least a .357 Mag.

These two rocket scientists got caught between a portage with bear spray at canoe where they were headed and a shotgun at the other end of portage where they came from. Some of the dialog is quite humorous and is a tell on how scared and unprepared these two really are.

OK, broke down and watched. That is not an attack or we would not have this video. That was an encounter and nothing more. Watch some Russian videos if you want to see "real" bears.

At least they were smart enough to stand together and scare it off.
But if there was more than one bear they would be dead.
I was just waiting for another bear to show up from behind them.
Idiots walking around bear county not paying attention to what's around them.

Just think if it was a grizzly or a MAMA BEAR WITH CUBS.
