Poll: How much would you pay for the best AR-15?

Well, I just paid $980 for a new 11.5" geissele super duty upper. That's going on a new KAC full ambi sr 15 lower that I paid $825 for. So that's $1805. The MRO is $400, sights another $120. Probably will get a magnifier. And theres an $850 suppressor in NFA jail that's going to be on this gun permanently. Add $200 for the suppressor stamp, and another $200 for sbr stamp (currently in pistol form). How much are we up to now? Oh, it needs a sling, too.

This is with me patiently and obsessively hunting for deals on exactly what I want.

No clue. I dont think the above mentioned gun will do anything that my 6920 or bcm 12.5 pistol won't do. The suppressor is a separate thing, obviously.

But I wanted it, now I have it. Back to practice.

Total cost before tax is about $500

If it fired 30-06 or .270 or .308 or 50bmg I would consider paying more.

Won't get into brands, but after holding a lot of expensive brand AR's, I don't value them as much as they are valued by others. Plus - I like duplicates, best things in life come in pairs

Also - I like to have optics, lights, accessories, ammo, other fun stuff.

If its a standard AR and it costs more than a wasr nowadays, and is still in production, I don't want it.

So no bcm or daniel defense in my house. To each their own though. I have spent more on other guns, but they weren't ARs or were but were different. Like the BRN-180S upper.
