The homeowner sounds like my Dad. Has an old six shooter with a 12 pound double action trigger pull. Unless he shoots it single action the round end up everywhere but on the paper :D

wonder if he hit his own car? If so will his insurance pay for the repair as well as the damage to his neighbor's property...

If that happened in Sacramento there would have been one of the 3 LE helicopters on scene with FLIR in under 5 minutes provided they weren't in the flight path of one of the airports. Guess they have more money/equipment down there than they deserve.

yeah but they also have a bunch of anti gun cops on the force. A friend returned from school in seattle and met us at a bar down there - he moved his guns and other stuff into the cab of his pickup that was registered as a non commercial vehicle. He came out to find them getting ready to tow his truck since it didn't have a camper shell or cover over the bed for not complying with the requirements for it being in compliance with the passenger vehicle plates. When he grabbed his cases with his guns out of the truck to move them into my vehicle they ran the numbers and since they weren't registered to his name they seized them. He had to contact his uncle ( one of the captains) to get it straightened out or they would probably be melted down or still in evidence now - 15 years later.
I was with another friend down there and we were followed for about 5 miles and as we stopped at a friends house we were lit up by now more than 3 cop cars and removed from the car at gunpoint because a car matching the description had been used in a incident earlier where 3 individuals shot at a cop (the car was a white caprice). Funny thing is we did not match the description of the individuals in question and on top of that they had caught them 4 hours earlier. All this was probably because we drove past an area where street racing was prevalent. oh - if we were going after cops they would have been in danger - their frisk job sucked and missed pocket knives and other items.
