Nah, they don't let Quakers into Catholic schools. ;) Quakers seldom give up on principles.

This was back in the '40s and it was the norm in those days to beat kids into a mold. What this particular teacher didn't know was that Dad owned the newspaper, closest family friend was Superentindent of the school district, Dad's fishing buddy was elementary school principal and Mom was Secretary to the city manager. In those days nobody had heard of Asperger's Syndrome, so I was just that hard-headed kid who was far ahead of the class and refused to do work the second, or third, or fourth ... time. She was also POed that I had corrected her on one of her lessons and had the proof with me.

Left handed...right eye dominant.
I shoot long guns and my bows right handed....shot hand guns left handed.

Grew up shooting everything left handed...started shooting right handed in the Army , just made things easier.
