Exactly: Constituents plural, politicians respond to what they view as majority public opinion in their districts because that is what will get them re-elected. We need to be vocal, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. On the micro scale we need to be converting those gun grabbing soccer moms, take them shooting, take the scariness of the unknown away. We need to get them to see that gun owners aren't a bunch of nuts. I have personally changed quite a few minds this way. Took an ex-girlfriend shooting years ago, she was horribly afraid of guns until I took her shooting. One cylinder of .357 later she was saying wow this is fun, I feel so empowered.

Too bad that .357 good feeling will be instantly wiped out after a single mass shooting and the torrent of MSM/government propaganda. Let me know when you convince her 2A means she can pick up the .357 and shoot the beltway traitors.

True 2A patriots are a fringe movement, the state has already won. Just be grateful the ruling class lets you hang on to your semi-autos for a few more years.

It has the impact from changes that occurred while he was govenor of Mass. I really wanted to keep this freindly however after being called ignorant twice by you I am having hard time being social. From my perspective you are wrong - you simply do not accept history in this case. In most situations I would agree with you but not this one. You asked I will tell you how I see it I am not asking for your agrement.
I voted for Obama for the follwing reasons:
1) The mess you guys like to call Obama's was not completely initiated by Obama - much of his first four years was trying to recover from GW, (considering what he was handed I suspect others could not do as well) - but no one likes to admit that - these next four years are truley his.
2) I support Obamacare and or the restructuring of our medical system in the united states - I SAW NOTHING FROM THE REPUBLICANS COMING OUT.
3) I still have faith - maybe misguided that there will be social security and for Romney not to have a solid / defined position layed out except to destroy Social Security as we know it. After paying into it for 50 years by the time I get to use it I would like to think there will be something there.
4) I cant stand Romney - why did the GOP did not put a better candidate than a already one time loser. GOP get with it - This election should have been won by the GOP instead they give us Romney - a candidate that would have told you anything he could to get elected, problem is you can go back and see where he said something 180 degrrees out.
5) Any of you guys got kids - if Romney had been elected you would have had to come up with the total cost of college out of your pocket - with Obama pell grants will be continued and even increased. I agree with Obama that education is important to this countries future. What was Romney's repsonse - ask your parents for money. I dont have kids but to me education is important.
6) Romney was invovled with out sourcing of jobs he was the founding father of outsourcing while at Bayne Capital.
7) To me he modififed an AWB in MA. ( He did not create it, he simply supported the ban because it was good for his carreer). He was as likely to enact gun control as Obama is.
8) I support stopping the Bush tax cuts for those bringing in over two hundred thousand dollars a year income.
9) We already spend more money on National defense than China and Russia combined but Romney wanted more. I do not think that we need to invest in more military - I dont necessarily want any less but when times are tight why are we going to put more money there.

These are some of the reasons I voted against Romney and for Obama - I am happy that Romney lost but not joyous knowing that we have four more years of Obama. I consder the reason we have four more years of Obama is because the GOP failed to bring forth a decent candidate. It is all mute now - it is what it is.


Now I will admit that I can find no redeeming answer for Holder getting away with fast and furious - all I can think of is that he and Holder are freinds and that is putting the country in 2nd place. I strongly dislike Holder - words cannot convey this strong enough here. I know that GW used executive privledge in regards to torture and rendition so I do not feel that one is worse than the other the problem as I see it. GW was a republican and Obama was a democrat and his mess was related to firearms which is a touchy subject around here. I honestly dont think Obama was aware of if before the fact like GW was. I do think that Obama has covered it up.

Again I am stating my position and the reason why I voted the way I did. I am not asking for approval as I right now would vote the same way again.

One year isnt much considering it took GW eight years to get us there - sorry dont buy it. Obama is now riding on his firt four years. Sorry you dont like our next president as I guess we dont have much choice now do we.

I would think that the majority of members on this board already have the firearms they really need in a SHTF situation and the ammo to feed them.
